In 1995, Don Roberto Orendain Jr., together with his sons, founded the ‘La Purísima’ distillery, drawing on a rich family history. Roberto Orendain comes from a family of pioneers in the tequila industry, who have been producing tequila since 1924, thus continuing the family’s long tradition.

With the founding of La Purísima, they are building on a history spanning over 400 years, carrying on both the time-honoured family traditions and their extensive expertise in the craft of tequila-making. Today, the La Purísima distillery ranks among the largest and most significant producers in the tequila industry, which impressively underlines its success.

Tosco Plata from the Hacienda Purísima distillery is a Mexican ultra-premium silver tequila with an alcohol content of 40 per cent. This tequila is made exclusively from 100 per cent agave, using a slow distillation process that preserves and refines the purity and quality of the final product.
