In 1995, Don Roberto Orendain Jr., together with his sons, founded the ‘La Purísima’ distillery, drawing on a rich family history. Roberto Orendain comes from a pioneering family in the tequila industry, which has been producing tequila since 1924, thus continuing the family’s long tradition.

With the founding of La Purísima, they are building on a history spanning over 400 years, carrying on both the time-honoured family traditions and their extensive expertise in the craft of tequila-making. Today, the La Purísima distillery ranks among the largest and most significant producers in the tequila industry, which impressively underlines its success.

Tosco Reposado from Mexico is an ultra-premium tequila with an alcohol content of 40%, made from 100% agave. To produce this high-quality tequila, Hacienda Purísima selected only the finest agaves, which, following a meticulous selection process, underwent a slow distillation process. The tequila was then aged for 11 months in American white oak casks.

Thanks to this ageing process and the gentle distillation, Tosco Reposado has developed unique and outstanding characteristics that give its flavour a particularly refined quality.
