Quiet Rebels Amy contains whisky that has been matured in ex-Maury casks sourced from a small organic vineyard in France. This vineyard produces an fortified wine made using a process similar to that used in port wine production. The 60-year-old vines are tended using various sustainable farming methods, including agroforestry, whereby trees are planted amongst the vines to improve soil quality.

In addition, the estate follows biodynamic principles, including the lunar calendar, which, according to several studies, helps to determine the optimal time for sowing and harvesting. The ex-Maury casks were combined with Nc'nean’s in-house STR red wine cask and ex-bourbon casks to create the special Quiet Rebels Amy bottling, which reflects Amy’s vision.
