Kingsbarns Distillery is located in the fertile Kingdom of Fife, also known as the granary of Scotland, and is run by the Wemyss family. This family has made a name for itself in the whisky world not only as distillery owners, but also as a respected independent bottler. The Distillery Reserve 2024 is the Kingsbarns Distillery's most mature whisky to date, a limited edition single malt at cask strength, matured exclusively in ex-Oloroso sherry casks. With only 3000 bottles available, this whisky embodies the distillery's characteristic Lowland style, which is characterised by lively fruity notes and delicate floral aromas.

Six American oak sherry butts, known for their rich, fruity and complex character, were selected for maturation. This particular cask selection and the careful maturation process give the whisky a deep, rich colour and a complex flavour profile, making it an excellent choice for connoisseurs of sherry-matured whiskies.
