Description
In 1874, the village of Tequila in the state of Jalisco was granted town status by decree. This honour recognised the heroic resistance of the inhabitants and their mayor, Sixto Gorjón, against the followers of the parliamentary rebel leader Manuel Lozada. The courage and determination of the people of Tequila, who stood up for their values and their freedom, were officially recognised with this designation. Today, Tequila is best known for the spirit of the same name, yet the town has a rich history deeply rooted in Mexico’s cultural heritage. Its elevation to town status was a significant step in the region’s development and demonstrates the importance of community and solidarity in difficult times.
This exceptional spirit is made from 100% pure blue Weber agave, renowned for its intense flavour and high quality. Tequila Reposado is aged for a minimum of two months and a maximum of one year in carefully selected oak casks, giving it a subtle golden colour.
Tequila Reposado is the ideal choice for connoisseurs who appreciate the subtle nuances and the tradition of tequila production.
