‘Samsara’, a term meaning ‘rebirth’, symbolises the first bottling since the reopening of the Bladnoch Distillery. This special creation is a masterful blend of Bladnoch single malts, combining whiskies that have been matured for at least 8 years with a number of rare, older malts. Maturation takes place in both first-fill ex-bourbon casks and first-fill ex-red wine casks from California. This choice of casks gives the whisky an exceptionally smooth texture and subtle wine-like aromas, which lend additional depth to its flavour profile.

Bottled in its natural state, the ‘Samsara’ edition is free from chill filtration and colouring agents, preserving the authenticity and purity of the flavours. This limited edition is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Bladnoch Distillery and bears witness to the long tradition and dedication that the distillery brings to whisky production.
