Glenfiddich is a whisky distillery near Dufftown in the former county of Banffshire in Scotland and is Scotland’s largest single malt producer.

The Glenfiddich Project XX is an extraordinary creation from the Experimental Series. This whisky was the result of a unique experiment in which 20 whisky experts from around the world, working under strict secrecy, each selected a single cask from a selection of thousands. The casks, including port pipes, sherry butts and first-fill bourbon casks, offered a variety of flavours and were matured in different types of cask, ranging from port to bourbon casks.

Master Distiller Brian Kinsman combined the 20 selected whiskies to create an innovative and entirely new whisky that exceeded even Glenfiddich’s own expectations. With an alcohol content of 47 per cent and as the second release in the “Experimental Series” – following the Glenfiddich IPA Cask – the “XX” stands for the 20 brand ambassadors who were involved in its creation.

A whisky that breaks boundaries and redefines the Glenfiddich tradition.
