The Highland Park 12 Years Old VIKING HONOUR, at 40% ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle, is one of the best-known expressions from the historic Highland Park Distillery in Orkney and embodies its Nordic heritage and style in a unique way. Produced on the windswept Orkney Islands, this single malt Scotch whisky combines maritime influences with balanced maturation and a clearly defined house character. The name ‘Viking Honour’ refers to the islands’ Scandinavian heritage and is reflected in both the design and the self-assured style of this bottling.
The Highland Park 12 Years Old is matured for over twelve years, predominantly in sherry-seasoned oak casks, which lend it structure, depth and balance. A key feature is the use of heather-peated malt, which imparts an elegant, never overpowering smokiness. This combination of mild smokiness, cask-derived richness and maritime freshness makes the whisky a versatile classic amongst Scottish single malts.
