The Hannes Reeh winery is located in the renowned wine-growing region of Andau, which is in the immediate vicinity of Lake Neusiedl. With 2400 hours of sunshine, Andau is one of the sunniest regions in Austria and offers ideal conditions for winegrowing. Hannes Reeh has been responsible for the vinification of his wines himself since 2007. His tireless determination is evident in every single one of his wines, which reflect the unique character of the region.

The term "unplugged" is used in music to describe playing without amplification - simple, pure and authentic. For Hannes Reeh, however, "unplugged" stands for wines that reflect the natural purity of the Andau region. No artificial interventions such as additional yeasts, enzymes or fining agents are used in the production of these wines. Especially in vintages of exceptional quality, the wines are even bottled without filtration in order to preserve their pure nature.

Zweigelt Unplugged matures for 11 months in wooden barrels and is made from Zweigelt grapes that thrive on nutrient-rich gravel soil. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and purity of the flavours. After ageing, the wine is carefully bottled and sealed with a natural cork.
