Twenty years ago, Hans Schwarz founded the Schwarz Wein Winery on Lake Neusiedl and turned his passion for wine into a success story. Originally a butcher, he took the plunge and turned his hobby into a career – a decision that quickly earned him recognition in the wine world. Today, the winery is run with dedication by Hans himself, together with his son Michael, who are carrying on the family legacy with a spirit of innovation and experience.

Schwarz THE BUTCHER Blaufränkisch is a single-varietal Blaufränkisch that is aged for 12 months in both large wooden casks and small, used Burgundy barrels. This carefully calibrated ageing process gives the wine a well-rounded balance, deep aromas and a harmonious structure. After maturation, the wine is gently bottled and sealed with a screw cap, which optimally preserves its freshness and quality.
