The Antica Torino brand was founded in 2016 by Vittorio Zoppi and Filippo Antonelli, with the aim of rediscovering traditional Piedmontese recipes and reviving the art of flavoured wines, liqueurs and spirits. The focus is on authentic taste experiences that are closely interwoven with the region’s history and culture.

Vermouth di Torino Dry is based on a recipe from the 1950s, a period when the vermouth industry in Turin was flourishing and evolving. This vermouth is characterised by a complex and multi-layered bouquet, resulting from the careful selection and processing of high-quality botanicals. The ingredients include wormwood, yarrow, nutmeg, sage, thistle and hyssop, which create an intense interplay of herbal and floral notes.

Production follows a precise process: maceration of the botanicals in 96 per cent alcohol for around 30 days, followed by pressing to extract the colour. Part of the macerate is then refined in a distillation apparatus before being combined with macerated and distilled wine. Following maturation and refinement in steel tanks, the vermouth is filtered and bottled, resulting in an exceptionally harmonious and long-lasting vermouth.
