Brotginsky Gin is a unique speciality from Upper Austria, characterised by a particularly sustainable and creative production process. The basis of this extraordinary gin is dried and crushed stale bread from the Aschauer bakery, which is further processed using an innovative upcycling process developed by Josef Farthofer, an organic distiller. This method is reminiscent of gin production, but with its own creative twist. The organic distiller mashes, ferments, distils and refines the stale bread with a total of 15 different botanicals, resulting in a unique flavour. Here, traditional baking craftsmanship meets innovative distilling artistry – a true rarity that combines sustainability with enjoyment.

This gin combines classic juniper notes with fresh herbs and a delicate citrus freshness, which together offer a harmonious and refreshing taste experience.
