Santero Original 7 Elixir De Ron combines Dominican rum-making tradition with a unique recipe that centres on ageing with raisins. This rum-based spirit is made from sugar cane distillate sourced from the Dominican Republic. A distinctive feature of the production process is the maceration with raisins, which lasts for over a month, allowing the dried grapes to impart their characteristic flavour to the blend. The recipe is complemented by caramelised sugar and other flavourings. Unlike a classic rum, Santero Elixir therefore emphasises the deliberate combination of the base spirit with additional ingredients.

The brand is backed by HYVEco from Modřice in the Czech Republic, where the bottling also takes place. Santero Elixir De Ron thus combines the Caribbean origins of its rum base with European refinement and bottling. With an alcohol content of 34 per cent and the classic 0.7-litre bottle size, it adds a distinctive Elixir speciality to the brand’s range.
