Hannes Reeh Zweigelt Neusiedlersee is an excellent example of the great craftsmanship of the Austrian winemaker Hannes Reeh. This Zweigelt is made from 100 per cent hand-picked Zweigelt grapes, which thrive on the characteristic red gravel soil with sandy elements around Lake Neusiedl. The soil and the region’s mild climate play a decisive role in bringing out the typical Zweigelt aromas, which are beautifully showcased in this wine. The grapes are harvested by hand and then gently fermented in stainless-steel tanks, which preserves the wine’s fresh fruit aromas and elegance.

The wine is sealed with a practical screw cap, which preserves its freshness and purity for a long time. The Hannes Reeh Zweigelt Neusiedlersee DAC 2023 has good ageing potential and can continue to mature until 2029, during which time its aromas will continue to develop and refine.
