The Wolfburn 8 Years Old Cognac Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an exclusive bottling from the young but already highly regarded Wolfburn Distillery, situated on the north coast of Scotland. Since its revival in 2013, the distillery has focused on traditional craftsmanship and innovative maturing techniques, which lend its whiskies a distinctive depth and character.

This limited edition has been matured for eight years in cognac casks, giving the whisky a particularly rich and complex aroma. The influence of the former cognac casks lends it a subtle fruitiness and a delicate sweetness, whilst the long maturation period perfectly integrates the aromas of oak, vanilla and dried fruit. The whisky is bottled at 46% ABV, which gives it a pleasant intensity and brings out its multi-layered flavours to the full.
