The Meteoriten Likör is a unique gin-based blackcurrant liqueur that both surprises and delights with its origin, depth of flavour and balance. Produced in the heart of the Nördlinger Ries, Germany’s largest meteorite crater, this liqueur combines the intense, fruity notes of ripe blackcurrants with the distinctive Meteoriten Gin, distilled from wild juniper berries native to this unique region.

Asteroid was created by Dr Karl Scheible with the aim of reinterpreting the depth and aromatics of a classic blackcurrant liqueur – combined with the wildness and resinous spiciness of the region’s characteristic juniper. The result is a full-bodied, nature-inspired liqueur that bears its origins not only in its name but also in its flavour. The composition unfolds an intense fruity sweetness, supported by an invigorating acidity that lends the liqueur freshness and character. The Meteoriten Gin, on which the Asteroid is based, provides depth, subtle spice and the characteristic, slightly resinous forest note that lends the product an elegant, sophisticated nuance.
