This special edition has been matured exclusively in high-quality ex-sherry casks, giving it a particularly fruity, complex bouquet – without the typical Islay smokiness, as Bruichladdich produces unpeated whiskies. Bottled at a robust 50% ABV, non-chill-filtered and with its natural colour, this edition is aimed at discerning connoisseurs and fans of sherry cask-matured single malts.

The whisky is made from Scottish barley, distilled in small batches and bottled with the utmost care at the historic Bruichladdich Distillery on the shores of Loch Indaal. The sherry cask maturation lends this edition particularly warm, sweet and fruity notes, which blend harmoniously with the maritime freshness and floral lightness of the Classic Laddie.
