The Ripa Della Volta Valpolicella Superiore DOC 2022 is an elegant red wine from Veneto, characterised by authenticity, freshness and a classic style. The cuvée is based on the traditional Valpolicella grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, which ripen under optimal conditions in the rolling hills of the Valpolicella region. As a ‘Superiore’, this wine bears the hallmark of a longer ageing period and a higher extract content compared to classic Valpolicella, which is clearly reflected in its structure and character.

The grapes are carefully selected and, following temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, undergo a short period of ageing in wooden barrels, which lends the wine depth, elegance and subtle spice without compromising its drinkability. With a moderate alcohol content of 12.5 % vol., the 2022 vintage offers a particularly approachable and balanced interpretation of the Valpolicella style – fresh, fruit-driven and with a clear sense of terroir.
