Aura Biska mistletoe schnapps (Croatian: Aura Biska – Rakija od Biske iz Hrvatske) is one of the most traditional and best-known herbal spirits from Croatia. This special mistletoe schnapps is based on a high-quality apple pomace distillate, which is refined with hand-picked mistletoe leaves from the trees on the slopes around the Ćićarija region. The recipe dates back over 2,000 years and is a closely guarded secret – it is passed down only within the family.

With an alcohol content of 37.5% vol., Aura Biska combines ancient healing traditions with modern distilling craftsmanship. In addition to mistletoe, four other types of herb are used, which, when combined, create a particularly harmonious and earthy character.
