The Kyrö Sauna Stories Apricot Brandy Cask Finish No. 2 51% vol. 0.7 l + GB is an exceptional limited edition from the innovative Kyrö Distillery Company in Isokyrö, Finland. The distillery is renowned for its characterful rye spirits and its unmistakable Nordic flair. With the Sauna Stories range, Kyrö celebrates the Finnish tradition of the sauna and combines it with the art of whisky-making – earthy, warm and authentic.


This special whisky is made from 100% Finnish whole-grain rye, which gives the distillate its characteristic spicy flavour. A combination of new American oak casks and apricot brandy casks was used for maturation. These casks impart both depth and fruity notes to the whisky, which harmonise perfectly with the robust rye profile. The result is an intense, full-bodied whisky with a fascinating interplay of warmth, spices and fruit. A total of just 3,596 bottles of this limited edition were produced, making it a highly sought-after collector’s item.


At 51% ABV cask strength, the Kyrö Sauna Stories Apricot Brandy Cask Finish No. 2 is robust and complex, without losing any of its elegance.
