The Antinori Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2022 is one of the most important red wines in Italy and a true flagship of modern viticulture in Tuscany. This iconic wine comes from the renowned Tenuta Guado al Tasso winery in Bolgheri, in the heart of the Maremma on the Tuscan coast, where the combination of maritime breezes, a sunny microclimate and poor, well-drained soils create the best conditions for international grape varieties.

The cuvée typically consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and occasionally a small proportion of Petit Verdot. In the 2022 vintage, this resulted in a particularly elegant and profound wine with a pronounced structure, complexity and ageing potential. The wine is matured for around 18 months in French barriques, which gives the wine additional depth, velvety tannins and a finely spiced aroma spectrum. The Guado al Tasso is the Tenuta's flagship - a Super Tuscan with aristocratic charisma and international appeal.
