The Bodega Norton Privada Family Blend 2023 is a premium cuvée from the heart of Mendoza, one of Argentina’s most important wine regions. The grapes for this fine red wine come from the winery’s oldest vineyards, which are up to 90 years old and lie at an altitude of around 1,100 metres above sea level in the foothills of the Andes. This high altitude ensures cool nights and marked day-night temperature contrasts, giving the grapes an ideal balance of ripe fruit and fresh acidity.

The cuvée is traditionally composed of Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon – three grape varieties that find ideal conditions in Mendoza. The grapes are carefully selected, gently processed and then aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, which gives the wine structure, complexity and ageing potential. The 2023 vintage boasts particularly dense fruit, elegant spice and velvety tannins – a prime example of a modern, high-quality Argentinian red wine.

The Privada Family Blend was originally produced as an exclusive house wine for the winery’s family and is now one of the most renowned wines in Bodega Norton’s portfolio – powerful, profound and with great ageing potential.
