This special part of Germany, renowned for its breathtaking hills and valleys, offers ideal conditions for fruit growing. In particular, the Markgräflerland and Staufen, with their mild climate in the foothills, are ideally suited to the cultivation of cherries of the highest quality.
Only hand-picked sweet cherries of the old varieties Dollenseppler, Schwarze Schüttler and Benjaminler, sourced from the finest vineyards in the Black Forest, are used to make Schladerer Kirschwasser. These varieties are renowned for their intense flavour and aromatic depth, which they develop thanks to the region’s mild, yet never too harsh, climate.
