The Tommasi Graticcio Appassionato 12.5% ABV, 0.75 l, is an expressive red wine from Veneto that perfectly embodies the Tommasi family’s time-honoured craftsmanship. Since 1902, the winery has stood for the highest quality and a passion for creating authentic wines from grape varieties typical of the region.


The Graticcio Appassionato is made from Corvina, Rondinella and Merlot grapes, sourced from selected Venetian growing regions. After harvesting, some of the grapes are dried for around a month on traditional bamboo racks, known as ‘Graticcio’. This process imparts a more intense bouquet to the wine and forms the basis for its distinctive character.


After fermentation, the wine is aged for six months in large Slavonian oak barrels. This lends it additional depth, structure and elegance. The result is a harmonious, velvety red wine that impresses with its balance of fruit, spice and smoothness.
