The Frescobaldi Nipozzano Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG 2022, 13.5% vol., 0.75 l, is a classic Tuscan red wine that impressively reflects the long tradition and elegance of the Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi estate. The Frescobaldi estate is one of Italy’s oldest and most renowned producers and has been synonymous with wines of the highest quality for centuries.


This Riserva is primarily based on the Sangiovese grape variety, complemented by small proportions of classic supplementary varieties such as Malvasia Nera, Colorino, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes come from the vineyards surrounding the Castello di Nipozzano in the Chianti-Rúfina zone – one of the oldest and most prestigious wine-growing regions in Chianti. After harvest, the wine is vinified using traditional methods and then aged for 24 months in oak barrels, which imparts structure, depth and subtle complexity. The 2022 vintage impresses with its elegance, complexity and a perfect balance of fruit, tannins and acidity.
