Description
The SOMMOS Varietales Somontano D.O.P. 2022 is a Spanish red wine full of character from the up-and-coming Somontano region in Aragón. This cuvée is made from the Syrah, Garnacha and Tempranillo grape varieties, which find ideal conditions in the high altitudes at the foot of the Pyrenees. The chalky and gravelly soils and the continental climate with hot days and cool nights give the grapes a distinctive flavour, strength and elegant freshness.
The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and fermented at a controlled temperature. The wine then matures for several months in oak barrels, giving it additional depth, flavour and structure. With an alcohol content of 14% vol., SOMMOS Varietales 2022 combines the flavour of Syrah, the juicy fruit of Garnacha and the classic elegance of Tempranillo. The SOMMOS winery, known for its innovative architecture and sustainable cellar work, produces a modern red wine that perfectly embodies the strengths of the Somontano terroir.
