The Douglas Laing Old Particular Caol Ila 9 Years Old 2015 is an exclusive single-cask bottling from the renowned Old Particular range by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. With a robust 56.8% ABV, a maturation period of 9 years and presented in an elegant 0.7-litre bottle complete with a stylish gift box (UK), this single malt is aimed at connoisseurs of intense and authentic whiskies.


This single cask Islay whisky was distilled in May 2015 and bottled in June 2024. It underwent a special finish in a Ruby Port butt, which lends it additional depth, fruity sweetness and an elegant complexity. Like all bottlings in the Old Particular series, it is non-chill-filtered and bottled without colouring, ensuring that its natural purity and cask character are fully preserved.


The combination of the Caol Ila Distillery’s smoky, maritime character and the fruity, sweet influences of the Ruby Port cask makes this edition an exceptional representative of the range. As a single cask bottling, it is strictly limited and therefore of particular interest to collectors.
