Description
The K+K Kirnbauer Cesario Brut 12% ABV 0.75 l is an exceptional sparkling wine from Burgenland, produced using the traditional bottle-fermentation method. This places it amongst the ranks of high-quality sparkling wines characterised by elegance, finesse and complex aromas. The cuvée combines Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Franc – vinified using the Blanc de Blancs et Blanc de Noirs method. Whilst Sauvignon Blanc provides freshness, lively fruit and structure, Cabernet Franc contributes spice, finesse and an elegant depth.
The grapes thrive on stony, chalky and sandy loam soils, which lend the wine its distinctive minerality. Following a chilled primary fermentation in stainless-steel tanks, secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle, where the Cesario matures on its lees for 18 months. Sealed with a natural cork and suitable for ageing until at least 2030, it offers a stylish, long-lasting sparkling wine experience.
