The Akashi Takumi Sherry Cask Finish Japanese Blended Whisky 40% vol. 0.5 l + GB comes from the historic Eigashima Shuzo Distillery, also known as the White Oak Distillery, which is based in the Japanese city of Akashi. The distillery has been producing whisky since the early 20th century, combining Japanese precision with a clear focus on cask management and balanced flavours.


The Akashi Takumi is a fine blended whisky characterised by its special secondary maturation. Following its initial maturation, it is finished in selected sherry casks, which lend it additional depth, fruity sweetness and an elegant spiciness. With an alcohol content of 40% vol., it is pleasantly mild and rounded, yet remains complex and multi-layered thanks to the sherry influences.
