19 Crimes The Banished Dark Red is an intense yet accessible Australian red wine that bears the unmistakable signature of the cult brand 19 Crimes. Inspired by the 19 offences that led to the deportation of British convicts to Australia in the 18th and 19th centuries, this wine also tells its very own story and combines history with modern wine enjoyment.
The cuvée is made from the classic grape varieties Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache, which find optimal ripening conditions in Australia's warm climate. The grapes are carefully processed to perfectly preserve the strong fruit, ripe tannins and spicy notes. With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol., The Banished Dark Red is lighter in alcohol than many other Australian red wines, but remains full-bodied, fruity and intense.
