The Caparzo Riserva Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2017 is an exceptional, mature red wine from the famous Montalcino wine region in Tuscany, Italy. This Riserva is made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello), carefully selected from the best vineyards of Caparzo on soils rich in limestone and clay, which give the wine its minerality, depth and structure. The warm, sunny climate of Tuscany combined with cool nights ensures optimal ripening of the grapes, resulting in intense fruit flavours, fine spiciness and an elegant acid structure.


After selective hand-picking, the wine is vinified traditionally in stainless steel tanks before maturing for over 36 months in large French oak barrels. It then spends a few months in the bottle to develop its full spectrum of flavours and velvety structure.
