The Faustino VII Rosado Rioja DOC 2024 is a fruity, elegant rosé wine from Spain that impressively combines the Mediterranean climate with the characteristic freshness of the Rioja region. Produced by the long-established Bodegas Faustino, one of Rioja’s best-known wineries, this wine embodies the perfect interplay of modern winemaking techniques and centuries of experience. It is made from the Tempranillo grape variety, which finds ideal growing conditions in the northern Rioja region. The soils here consist of clay and limestone, which lend the wine its delicate minerality and structure.
The grapes are harvested early to preserve their natural freshness and fruitiness. Following a brief maceration on the skins, which gives the wine its vibrant colour, fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
