The Salzl Cuvée 3-5-8 Premium 2020 is an impressive Austrian red wine from the Neusiedlersee wine-growing region in Burgenland, regarded as the true flagship of the Salzl Seewinkelhof winery. This exceptional cuvée blends Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to create a powerful, complex yet harmonious wine that epitomises the highest quality, precision and passion.


The grapes come from old vines growing on sandy soils and black earth composed of loamy silt with a high gravel content – a terroir that enables optimal ripeness, concentration and minerality. Following the harvest, the grapes undergo gentle vinification before the wine is aged for 24 months in small oak barrels (100 per cent new wood). This extended barrel ageing imparts its dense structure, subtle toasted notes and exceptional complexity. With an alcohol content of 14 % vol., the Salzl Cuvée 3-5-8 Premium is a dry, perfectly balanced red wine with great ageing potential – ready to drink between 2025 and 2035.
