The PURIST Pet. Nat. rosé 2023 is a fascinating natural wine and a prime example of modern winemaking craftsmanship. This Pétillant Naturel, or Pet Nat for short, is produced using the oldest method of bottle fermentation, in which the still fermenting must is sealed directly in the bottle. This creates the natural, fine perlage that makes this style of wine so distinctive. The 2023 vintage with 12% vol. is a lively, authentic sparkling wine full of character and energy.


The cuvée consists of Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, three grape varieties that give the wine structure, fruit and flavour. The grapes come from sustainably farmed vineyards and are carefully harvested by hand to preserve the natural flavours. Filtration and fining are deliberately avoided - the wine remains natural and unfined, which gives it its authentic turbidity and original vibrancy. Fermented and matured on the fine lees, the Puriste Pet. Nat. rosé reflects the philosophy of its name: pure, genuine, handcrafted and unadulterated.
