Produced by the Adam-Lieleg winery, the grapes come from a south-east facing vineyard at around 530 to 560 metres above sea level. The Illyrian climate with a strong influence from the Koralpe ensures marked temperature differences between day and night and allows for a particularly precise development of flavours. The vines grow on gravel soils of the Kreuzberg series with a high proportion of calcareous conglomerates, which gives the Pinot Blanc Südsteiermark DAC a distinct mineral structure and elegance.
