The Portia Prima La Encina Ribera del Duero 2022 is a characterful, deep red wine made from 100% Tempranillo grapes that encapsulates the essence of the famous Ribera del Duero wine region in Castile-León. The vines grow on limestone and clay soils in a continental climate characterised by hot days and cool nights. These conditions ensure perfectly ripe grapes with intense flavour and precise structure.


After selective manual harvesting, the grapes are gently processed and fermented at a controlled temperature. The wine is then matured in oak barrels for at least 15 months, allowing it to develop its harmonious balance between ripe fruit, flavour and structure. The Portia Prima La Encina Ribera del Duero 2022 is limited to just 15,756 bottles - a wine of rare exclusivity and outstanding quality that reflects the best of the region. Bodegas Portia, designed by the renowned architecture firm Foster & Partners, is considered an architectural landmark of the region: a futuristic building that harmonises state-of-the-art design, natural materials and avant-garde shapes with the landscape.
