The Caparzo La Casa Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2020 14.5% Vol. 0.75 l is an outstanding Tuscan red wine that embodies the essence of a great Brunello di Montalcino - elegant, powerful and remarkably structured. It comes from the renowned Caparzo winery, which is one of the pioneers of the region and presents "La Casa", one of its most prestigious vineyards. This single vineyard is located in the north-west of Montalcino and is one of the historic crus of the appellation, which is particularly known for its microclimatic balance between sun, wind and soil conditions.


The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso, a grape variety that can develop its full complexity on the estate's calcareous clay soils. After fermentation, the Brunello matures for 12 months in French barriques and then for a further 24 months in large French oak barrels with a capacity of 30 hectolitres. This long ageing in wood gives it its harmonious structure, depth and noble maturity.
