The Tormaresca Torcicoda Primitivo Salento IGT 2023 15% Vol. 0.75 l is a full-bodied, deep red wine from Apulia that captures the essence of southern Italy in concentrated form. It comes from the renowned Tormaresca winery, which belongs to the traditional Antinori family and is famous for its high-quality wines from the Salento region. Torcicoda is made exclusively from the Primitivo grape variety - the grape that has made Apulia one of Italy's most important wine regions.


The grapes are carefully harvested by hand, then gently pressed and macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks at 26 °C for 15 days. This is followed by ageing and malolactic fermentation in French and Hungarian oak barriques, which gives the wine its velvety structure and fine flavour. After 8 months in the bottle, it is released onto the market perfectly matured. Its ageing potential of up to 10 years emphasises the exceptional quality and development potential of this top wine from Apulia.
