Clément Rhum Agricole Ambré 40% vol. 1 l is an authentic example of the French Rhum Agricole style and is produced in accordance with strict quality standards on the island of Martinique, a French overseas department. The Rhum Clément brand is one of the region’s most renowned producers and boasts a long tradition dating back to 1887. The house was founded by Homère Clément, a pioneer of Rhum Agricole production, who perfected the art of distilling from fresh sugarcane juice. Today, the rum is produced at the Simon distillery, which carries on the heritage and philosophy of the Clément house with the utmost precision.


Clément Rhum Ambré is made from pure, freshly pressed sugarcane juice and is aged for up to twelve months in oak casks, giving it its characteristic amber colour and balanced aroma. Unlike a Rhum Blanc, it is more complex and smoother, whilst remaining lively and fresh. On the palate, this rum combines the natural sweetness of sugar cane with subtle woody and fruity nuances. Aromas of figs, vanilla, honey and floral notes lend it an elegant balance between strength and delicacy. Ambré is considered a versatile rum that can be enjoyed neat or used as a premium base for Caribbean cocktails and long drinks such as Ti’ Punch or Piña Colada.
