The IRO St. Laurent Ried Herrschaftswald 2024, with an alcohol content of 14% vol. in a 0.75-litre bottle, is a red wine with a distinctive character from one of IRO’s finest vineyards. The Ried Herrschaftswald offers ideal conditions for the demanding St. Laurent grape variety, whose character is often compared to that of Burgundy varieties. The combination of a cool microclimate, deep soils and careful harvesting results in a wine that is equally precise, powerful and elegant.


The 2024 vintage is particularly concentrated and well-structured. The ageing process is geared towards expression and depth, resulting in a St. Laurent that clearly displays its typical characteristics: dark fruit, subtle spice, complexity and a lively structure. The multi-layered aromas and precise tannin structure make this single-vineyard wine an impressive example of the variety – full of character, rich in flavour and with a long-lasting presence.
