The Hillinger Pinot Gris 2025, with an alcohol content of 12.5 per cent by volume, in a 0.75-litre bottle, is an expressive, modern white wine from Burgenland, which combines the characteristic traits of the Pinot Gris variety with the distinctive style of the Hillinger winery. It is made from 100% Pinot Gris and undergoes an 8-hour maceration period before being fermented at a cool temperature in stainless-steel tanks. The wine is then aged on its fine lees for 5 months, during which time its creamy texture and depth develop.


The 2025 vintage is particularly elegant and harmonious. The interplay of maturation, a delicate acid structure and varietal aromas produces a wine with a distinct presence and a multi-layered expression. In the glass, it glows with a rich golden-yellow colour that reflects its mature, aromatic style. The Pinot Gris impresses with its balance, clarity and a full-bodied flavour profile, which is further refined by ageing on the fine lees. With an ageing potential of up to 8 years, it is a wine of enduring elegance and depth, whether enjoyed young or after maturation.
