The Frescobaldi Pomino Castello Pomino Bianco DOC 2024 comes from one of Tuscany’s highest-altitude and most traditional white wine-growing regions, which reaches up to 700 metres above sea level and provides ideal conditions for elegant white wines. The blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco is harvested with the utmost care, with the grapes being selected whilst still in the vineyard to ensure a high standard of quality. In the winery, the grapes then undergo particularly gentle pressing cycles, during which contact with oxygen is minimised as far as possible to preserve the natural freshness and purity of the must. Alcoholic fermentation takes place under controlled conditions in stainless steel tanks and, to a lesser extent, in French oak barriques. This combination achieves a precise balance between creaminess, structure and crisp freshness. Once vinification is complete, the Pomino Bianco undergoes further ageing in the bottle before revealing its elegant structure and distinctive freshness.


The production method reflects the Frescobaldi family’s many years of experience and the distinctive identity of the Pomino appellation, which is renowned for its exceptional white wines. The high altitude and cool microclimate lend the cuvée a sophisticated style that combines elegance and finesse.
