The Landauer Gisperg Black Betty Red 2022, with an alcohol content of 12.5% vol. in a 0.75-litre bottle, is a certified organic red wine blend from Tattendorf, crafted from an exceptional combination of grape varieties: Rathay, Roesler and St. Laurent. These three Austrian varieties bring power, structure, fruit and elegance together in a harmonious whole. The vines grow on stony, limestone-rich gravel soils typical of the region, which lend the wines tension, minerality and clean lines.


The winemaking process is carried out with the utmost care: quality-focused low yields, selective hand-harvesting, precise sorting of the grapes and a delicate interplay of ageing in large and small wooden barrels for 8–12 months. The result is a red wine that harmoniously combines both the depth and opulence of the Roesler and Rathay varieties and the finesse and elegance of St. Laurent. The Black Betty Red is dense, fruit-driven and clearly structured; a modern, powerful red wine with a charming character and long-lasting expressiveness, which can be interpreted in both a classic and a playful manner.
