Penderyn MYTH Single Malt Welsh Whisky is part of the relaunched Penderyn Dragon Range, which has been shaping the modern expression of the Welsh whisky tradition since 2015. This bottling is non-chill-filtered, uncoloured and has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and rejuvenated oak casks. With these casks, the wood on the inside is sanded down and re-charred, reactivating the cask so that it can impart fresh flavours to the whisky. The new, lighter bottle and the redesigned gift box make the Dragon series stand out visually whilst also improving its environmental sustainability.

Thanks to Penderyn’s special distillation method, a particularly pure, aromatically clear distillate is produced. The MYTH is accordingly light, fruity and approachable, without lacking structure. The symbolism of the Red Dragon, which represents Wales and is deeply rooted in the country’s history, accompanies this edition and emphasises its cultural background.
