Samai Premium Gold Rum is the first and iconic bottling from the Samai Distillery in Cambodia and is recognised as a benchmark for high-quality craft rum from South East Asia. Made from rich Cambodian sugar cane molasses, this rum reflects the local terroir with remarkable clarity. A subtle addition of local organic honey emphasises the natural intensity of the molasses and gives the distillate a distinctive, elegant sweetness. Distillation is carried out traditionally in copper pot stills, which promotes depth, texture and aromatic precision.


The maturation of two to four years takes place in a carefully curated selection of French and American oak barrels, supplemented by ex-bourbon barrels and sherry casks. This cask management brings balance between wood, sweetness and spice and emphasises the complex but accessible style. Bottled at 41% vol., Samai Gold Rum is full-bodied, balanced and versatile - just as convincing on its own as it is in high-quality cocktails.
