Samai Kampot Pepper Spiced Rum is an exceptional rum-based spirit that embodies a modern, aromatic and spicy style and impressively reflects its Cambodian origins. For this bottling, finely matured rum, produced from Cambodian sugarcane molasses, is enhanced with aromatic red Kampot pepper. Kampot pepper is one of the world’s most renowned varieties of pepper and lends this speciality its unmistakable character. Distillation takes place using both the traditional copper pot still and the column still method, creating a harmonious balance between structure and elegance.


The rum is aged for up to three years, then blended and left to mature for a further six months in stainless-steel tanks to harmoniously integrate the flavours. Due to the deliberate flavouring with Kampot pepper, it is legally classified as a spiced rum or a rum-based spirit drink. At 41% ABV, this bottling is powerful, yet surprisingly fresh and well-balanced.
