Taittinger Champagne NOCTURNE ROSÉ Sec is a sensual, expressive champagne from the Champagne region, specifically designed to be enjoyed in the late evening. This cuvée was created following the great success of the Nocturne Linie and combines elegance, rich fruitiness and a deliberately softer style. The blend is based on 30 per cent Chardonnay and 70 per cent Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, complemented by 12 to 15 per cent still red wine from Champagne, sourced predominantly from first-class Pinot Noir grapes from the Montagne de Reims and Les Riceys. This component lends the champagne its intense colour, as well as additional depth and structure. With an alcohol content of 12.5 per cent, this cuvée is balanced, harmonious and exceptionally charming.


The dosage of 17.5 g/l clearly positions the NOCTURNE ROSÉ as a ‘sec’ style champagne and provides a gentle sweetness that is superbly integrated thanks to the long, slow maturation in Taittinger’s cellars. The freshness of the Chardonnay counterbalances the rich fruitiness and lends the champagne its balance.
