The Rum Club PRIVATE SELECTION Jamaica Single Cask Rum Edition 59 embodies the uncompromising tradition of Jamaican rum and is clearly aimed at experienced connoisseurs and collectors of high-proof single cask rum. Bottled by Rum Club Private Selection, this Edition 59 dates from the 2004 vintage and was matured for many years before being bottled at cask strength of 63.3 per cent. As a single cask bottling, each bottle is part of a strictly limited batch and bears the distinctive character of a single cask. It is bottled in a 0.5-litre bottle, placing a clear emphasis on quality, intensity and individuality.

Typical of Jamaican single cask rum, this bottling displays a powerful, ester-driven style with enormous aromatic density. The long maturation period lends the rum structure, depth and a pronounced cask character, whilst the high alcohol content preserves its full complexity. Within the RUM CLUB PRIVATE SELECTION range, this edition is regarded as consistent, Purist and sophisticated. It is aimed at connoisseurs who appreciate cask-strength rum, ‘Jamaica Funk’ and authentic cask-strength bottlings, and who consciously prioritise expressiveness over accessibility.
