The Frescobaldi RÈMOLE Rosso Toscana IGT 2024 is a characterful Tuscan red wine that offers a modern and accessible interpretation of the Frescobaldi family’s long winemaking tradition. Its roots lie in the Villa di Remole, in the heart of Tuscany, which is regarded as the cradle of the Frescobaldi family’s history spanning over 700 years. This heritage shapes the wine’s style, as does the careful selection of Sangiovese grapes, complemented by a proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, which provide fruit, structure and balance.
The Remole Rosso Toscana IGT is deliberately aged in stainless steel tanks, where it matures for around four months, followed by a further two months of bottle ageing. This ageing process preserves the fresh fruit, emphasises the smooth character and results in an uncomplicated yet sophisticated Italian red wine. The 2024 vintage is an intense, fruity and harmonious Toscana Rosso that is equally impressive as an everyday wine and as a versatile accompaniment to food.
