Ron Zacapa Centenario XO Solera Gran Reserva Especial is one of Guatemala’s most renowned ultra-premium rums and is recognised worldwide for its exceptional maturity, depth and elegance. This rum is produced by Zacapa Rum using virgin sugar cane honey – the first juice extracted from the sugar cane – which lends it distinctive aromas and finesse. It is matured using the traditional Sistema Solera method, in which rums of varying ages are blended together over the course of several years. Ageing takes place in the legendary ‘House Above the Clouds’ at an altitude of around 2,300 metres, where the cool climate allows for slow, controlled maturation.

Ron Zacapa XO combines rums that have been aged in ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and ex-Pedro Ximénez casks, before selected batches undergo an additional finish in French cognac casks.
